What Year Is It (46)?

Clues:

Frank Sinatra makes singing debut; Glenn Miller’s “In the Mood” charts at #1; Gene Pitney and Smokey Robinson are born; Neville Chamberlain and Emma Goldman die; Britain starts rationing bacon, butter and sugar; first McDonald’s opens; Nazis forbid Polish Jews from traveling on trains; and the comic strip “Brenda Starr” is first published.

  • Loved "In the Mood", although I always get it confused with "String of Pearls". Sounds like right before WWII. I'm guessing a year of importance to me, 1938. Never read "Brenda Starr" and don't regret it.
