What is this? You may have noticed that our logo is constantly changing. All of our logos are drawn and submitted by registered users of Splice Today.

Try your hand at creating our logo by drawing and submitting one of your own. Selected logos will be added to our rotating collection and will appear on your profile. If you want to see more of the collection or look at other users' logos for inspiration, just refresh any page of the site to pull up a new logo.

INSTRUCTIONS

Logo submissions must be created using one of our two templates, which work with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

The artwork you draw should be solid black on a white background and fit within the borders of the template. Artwork with soft, blurred edges and gradients will not be accepted. Make sure that you use the pencil tool or hard-edged brushes only in Photoshop. Keep in mind as you’re drawing that the templates are 200% actual size, so fine details will be half as large when the logo appears on the site.

Once your drawing is ready for submission, delete or turn off the layer labeled Guidelines so that only the layer Your Art is showing. In Illustrator or Photoshop, go to Save For Web from the File menu (in older versions you may have to use the Export or Save As command instead). Choose PNG-8 as your file format, and turn off the Transparency check box.
